One Planet Peace Forum 2025 Program
Theme and Description:
Building a Culture of Peace Right Where We Are & Making it Globally Scalable – Exploring Underlying Principles and Essential Preconditions
The divided times we’re living in call for a unity of purpose in building the foundation and framework for humanity to live as one family in a just and harmonious global community. But how can the people of the world be brought together to build an infrastructure applying unitive principles to establish a culture of peace that is truly globally scalable? This roundtable of six peacebuilders will offer their vision of how we each can contribute to building a peaceful world, where every person feels seen, valued, and connected, and all relationships and interactions are guided by compassion, cooperation, and partnerships. Brief opening statements will set the stage for a roundtable conversation diving deeper into the principles and preconditions for peace, attempting to move toward unity of thought around creating local strategies for building strong, vibrant, inclusive communities that will be the foundation for a culture of peace that is globally scalable.
Roundtable presenters include:
Dot Maver, Founding President, National Peace Academy
Emily Hine, Peace and Mindfulness Consultant
Charles Gibbs, Founding Executive Director, United Religions Initiative
Libby Hoffman, Founder and President, Catalyst for Peace
Robert Atkinson, Founding Director, One Planet Peace Forum
Julie Krull, President, Good of the Whole.
