• The story of how John and Mickaela met. (M missed 9 flights the day of a sacred eclipse, then seated next to him after an underwater mission for humpback whales to restore their navigational compasses w/ cymatics). An eclipse aligned them then. This eclipse creates the alignment/collaboration to support his work in Greenland. And to educate the public with his gentleness, humility, but very clean/clear data for collaborative NECESSITY.

• Review the elliptical orbit around the sun. Basic. Summer and winter. 2.5 million-year-cycle we can document. 20,000 years of sea level rise/heat, then 80,000 years of fall/freeze. (we’ve been level for 6,000 years so we don’t see the wide/long view). If Greenland melted entirely, the sea would be 25 feet higher (VERTICALLY not horizontally up on shore).

• Why our Greenland mission and John’s Sea Level Rise Institute needs us to VISUALLY see the glaciers and broadcast them to the world: because it defies imagination and it defies photography. 10,000 years ago, sea level was 393 feet LOWER. That’s unimaginable to us. This is a 400-foot difference. 212 feet is how much higher the oceans will be if all the ice melts. Coming out of the last ice age, it rose 393. So that’s a total range of 600 vertical feet of difference. The human mind cannot actually perceive what John has been talking about for decades. People don’t quite understand why his science reveals.

• What is different about this precession of the equinoxes? We were at the end of the 400 feet rise and we would have been entering a cooling, but we changed our own atmosphere because of our cleverness and heat-based inventions. HUMANS ALTERED THE LONG-CALENDAR CYCLE. After 10,000 years of sea level rising, we broke out of the natural climate cycle that we think of as the ice age and did more than speed it up. We changed the atmosphere. And we were warned about it decades ago. Repeat the simple take-home fact: We are in a warming cycle when we should be in a cooling cycle. And we have to adapt.

• 140 nations will have sealines realigned. Its been stable for 6,000 years, but it will be 212 feet higher when all the ice melts. This is not a stoppable process. Its going to put our cities and our money under water.

• For every foot of sealevel rise, the shoreline rises 300 feet (on global average). That entire shift could happen this century, but much will shift incrementally even in the next 10 years. And the scientific community doesn’t talk about it openly to avoid scaring everybody. But silence and avoidance is not a safe approach.

• If we were informed members of society, we could use consciousness itself as a viable tool for ecological stability, miracles, collaboration, prevention, intervention, and INVENTION of new tools for refugee support and global adaptation.

• What would a water planet look like?

• The big question and the big problem: How much ice on Greenland and Antarctica will melt in this century? It is unknowable. But for planning purposes, we tell people to plan for 10 feet this century. Just as a minimum number. But stopping the melting of Greenland is difficult given the heat we’ve already put into the system. Even if well all stopped fossil fuels today, the heat ALREADY in the system would cause the predicted melt of the ice sheets.

• 1917 Alexander Graham, inventor of telephone, warned us that we’d melt the ice sheet. He warned about fossil fuels over 100 years ago.

• John will talk about many traditions and prophecies linked to science: 2.5 million years – Think about what we call ancient. The old testament days, Jewish, Chinese, old Mayan calendar. Looming back 5-10,000 years and sea level hasn’t changed much. All of our texts were written mostly in the 6,000 years of stability. But we are in a super unnatural upcycle that we triggered. Hoping sea level will simply stop rising is naive. Its not about building walls. Its about floating structures and abandoning lowlands. For 20,000 we’ve had a warming cycle. Upsurge in melt 11,000 years ago. Northern Canada records show the wider changes.

• Gregg Braden’s work about tracking volcanic eruption. We are due for a big one right now. Based on long calendar cycles. Within this 11-13 year cycle its almost a guarantee.
