The recent Indigenous Action Summit, March 18–23, 2025 in the Gardens of the Golden Hummingbird, Maya Bioregion had the presence of many Indigenous Nations and communities, and allies gathered. It led to the Declaration for Action: A Draft Roadmap for Indigenous-Led Regeneration, Sovereignty, Environmental and Economic Prosperity, and Global Leadership.
The consultation process has been essential, with four Circles of related areas for immediate action: 1) Governance, Indigenous Sovereignty, Trade, Commerce, and Economy; 2) Unity of Grandmothers and Mothers Circle; 3) Bridging Continents Circle, and 4) Art, Culture, Education, and Digital Platforms Circle. Next steps are the 25-Year Comprehensive Community Development Plan for ABYA YALA 2025–2050, and the organisation of the next Ancestral Equinox Gathering in March 2026.
The Ancestral Equinox Gatherings of the Americas are organised as part of the call of the Prophecy of The Union of the Condor, Hummingbird, Quetzal, and Eagle, with its purpose to co create an ever-deepening spiritual and practical alliance across Abya Yala – Americas and beyond. This is at the core of the Global Council that was reinstalled through elections after 52 years in 2023, under leadership of Hereditary Chief Phil Lane, Jr., and Adriana Alvarez, with consultation and witness by the allies Kindred Spirits Ireland and The Hague Center for Global Governance, Innovation and Emergence.
Anne-Marie Voorhoeve is an Evolutionary Leader at The Hague Center. She is Recipient of the Jaguar Award and Ally of the Council, serving as advisor for its members, and as co-lead and facilitator Bridging Continents, member Divine Mother’s Love. She was at all the Ancestral Equinox Gatherings.
“Participating in these Ancestral Equinox Gatherings – where the fire, tendered 24hours a day by Fire Keepers, keeps the purpose alive – offers me a unique experience of courageous leadership and sacred responsibility. I choose to carry that forward in gratitude and guided by a compass of unitive justice, with respect and universal love.”
