The challenge with that notion is that we watch enthusiasts are as much swayed by emotion as we are by goedkope cartier horloge technical factors.These notches make the Big Bang DJ Snake immediately recognisable, distinguishing it from other collections.I like the look of all three versions, but in the end, for me, it comes down to the two-tone and to the blue dial, with a slight edge going to the blue. Fun fact, this blue is actually called Aletsch Blue, a reference to the Aletsch Glacier, the largest glacier in the Alps. I feel like a blue dial is pretty classic for this style of watch, and it makes a strong impression with the signature sunburst eagle iris pattern.The tale of thToday we have a green dial iteration which is a color variation we do not often see. The deep sunray green finish to the dial nicely compliments the Arabic numerals circumventing the large surface area of this 42mm chrono. It comes affixed to a leather strap and stands out as a unique offering within the Portuguese line. Of course, that’s certainly the size of it, but as well the general impression a watch gives. Besides the size, the shape is important, however, absolutely the dial as well. The dial isn’t determining how the watch physically feels on your wrist, but how it feels when looking at it or seeing it in a glance. Attracting a lot of attention will make it a more busy watch.I liked the latter quite a bit because it’s easy to wear on a variety of occasions. Thanks to the quick-release system used for the bracelets, switching between the two is easy. I would have loved to see the same quick-release spring bars used for the straps, though.Originally I falsos jaeger lecoultre relojes had planned to go with ‘parties weren’t meant to last’ (see next paragraph) but the song ‘1999’ doesn’t link me to Prince across time and space in the same way.Hence, whether the 40mm diameter case is made of rose gold or steel, it is paired with a crown and push-buttons machined from ethically sourced precious metal.Time flies, as they say! Still, don’t expect funky ’70s watches with psychedelic colors and angular cases.The Grand Complication was fully handmade by Daniels, and he never sold it during his lifetime. Time will tell the price it achieves in this spring’s Geneva sale.
